Monongahela Forrest and Mountain Laurel Magic

I recently did a summer backpack in the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. It was one of the most amazing hikes I did in a long time. My friend timed this trip perfectly. The entire mountain was covered in blooming mountain laurel. Pink and white star shaped blossoms were everywhere. The higher we hiked, the more colorful the forrest would become. We photographed from sunrise to sunset. We hiked. We took in the sights. It was simply a pure magic. I shot with my small yet mighty mirrorless Sony a6000 with a kit lens. This is my go to camera whenever I venture out into the great outdoors. It's light and small and does not add too much weight to an always too heavy backpack. Here are a few of the images I took.
