One of my most favorite locations to photograph at and which I visit frequently is Delmarva peninsula on the East Coast of the United States. Located just a 3 hour drive from Washington DC, the area offers a multitude of photographic opportunities. Delmarva is surrounded by waters of the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean and is also located on a major migratory byway known as Atlantic flyway. It's many wildlife refuges and state parks provide an oasis for thousands of birds and a variety of wildlife making any photography outing an exciting and productive adventure.
